I needed an electrician to install an electric fire at fairly short notice for my parents. There were a few initial considerations with the house being a bit outdated and my Dad having dementia and not enjoying having visitors sometimes. Ian from Harveys Electrical has been brilliant at communicating and was flexible and accommodating. He's done a great professional job and was very polite, considerate and efficiant. We also have a certificate for the work carried out. We will definitely keep his number for future reference.

Having your dream kitchen built is always a challenge, what you think you want can change over the course of the installation. Having started with a plan, it changed as time went on. Ian accommodated me throughout with the electrical aspects of the job, even when I asked for things to be changed or added during the process. He also had the experience and insight to suggest things that I hadn’t even thought of, but that I absolutely would have regretted not having done when it was finished. The rules regarding electrical work carried out in domestic properties were changed in 2005 and as such anyone who regularly carried out installation work in such properties will normally be registered with one of the main accreditation bodies and their work monitored to make sure that they continue to comply with the relevant rules.
